About Morgana Shea

Bio

Morgan Galvan, (pen name Morgana Shea), is a dedicated mother of four and is married to her husband, Gabriel. She enjoys spending her time crafting stories for her children, gardening, and promoting poetry. Morgana has been published in several Poetry Society of Indiana anthologies and is the author of Hopeless, a poetry chapbook that highlights hope in ordinary, everyday experiences.

You can find Morgana's work in several anthologies such as Poetry Society of Indiana's Ink to Paper Volume 6 ((2021), Once Upon a Winter (2021), Father (2023), and Mothers (2023).  She also hosts poetry open mics, poetry workshops, sells artwork and hand-crafted jewelry, and visits schools for in-person poetry readings and mini poetry workshops.

Hope, what of it?

There is nothing this world needs more than hope, and art and poetry are two valuable tools to implement hope into daily life. It is Morgana's goal to put these tools into as many people's hands as possible, both by making her own work available, and by creating free resources and workshops to teach the basics of poetry, and foster confidence in the attendees. Morgana believes poetry and art are for everyone–anyone can write and create! And poetry and art are vital for everyone–we all need ways to cultivate hope through life's journey.

Morgana's Services

Morgana offers a variety of services such as aiding Indie authors on their self-publishing journey, proofreading and typist services, and organizing and hosting poetry workshops. Morgana also sells her artwork and hand-crafted jewelry online on her "Shop!" page, and in-store at Encounter Cafe in Converse, IN. You can find directions to the cafe here.
