Morgana Shea is a Hoosier poet and Vice President of Poetry Society of Indiana. She enjoys writing pieces that highlight the beauty and hope in ordinary, everyday experiences. She has also been published in several anthologies such as Poetry Society of Indiana's Ink to Paper Volume 6 (2021), Once Upon a Winter (2021), Father (2023), and Mothers (2023).
Poetry is a written art form that offers a cathartic mode of expression. It helps us see situations from another’s perspective and cultivates a consciousness of empathy. It is Morgana's hope that through her poetry and other works, she is able to bring hope and healing to every reader, especially those in recovery from addiction or abuse.
When Morgana is not busy writing poetry, you can find her playing with her children, nieces, and nephew, gardening, cooking, and spending CAThartic time with the family cat. Morgana also enjoys handcrafting jewelry, and sells the jewelry, home goods, and extra garden produce at her local farmers' market.
